Milšped Group and the Belt and Road Institute to Improve Logistics Services and Trade Relations Between China and Serbia
Milšped Group has become the strategic logistics partner of the Belt and Road Institute, and through this partnership, the aim is to enhance logistics services and trade relations between China and Serbia.
The strategic cooperation agreement was signed by Nikola Todorović, Deputy General Manager of Milšped, and professor Dr. Bojan Lalić, Director of the Belt and Road Institute.
"Our experience in the Asian and Chinese markets, gained through our member company Milšped China, makes us the perfect partner for such projects. Llong-term partnerships we have established in this part of the world give us an advantage in executing complex logistics tasks on a global level. We believe that our ability to quickly respond to challenges, along with our commitment to implementing advanced technologies, will enable us to fully realize the potential of this partnership," emphasized Nebojša Krivokuća, CEO of Milšped Group.
Professor Dr. Bojan Lalić, Director of the Belt and Road Institute, stated, "Today we signed a strategic agreement that brings us closer to achieving the mission within the Belt and Road Initiative. Logistics has become the science of all sciences, and cooperation with Milšped Group will enable more efficient execution of projects in critical areas such as decarbonization, ESG reporting, and energy efficiency. The Belt and Road Institute remains committed to supporting companies, connecting with universities, and enhancing the capacities of the Serbian economy in global terms."
Following the signing of this agreement, a workshop was held on the application of the China-Serbia Free Trade Agreement, led by Aleksandar Pajić, an expert in international preferential trade at Milšped Group. The workshop covered key points of the agreement, regulations, and procedures for importers and exporters, as well as practical examples from the field. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in a discussion and exchange views about the opportunities offered by this agreement.
The Belt and Road Initiative is a global infrastructure project connecting Asia, Europe, and Africa, aimed at improving trade routes and facilitating international exchange. As a strategic logistics partner, Milšped, in cooperation with numerous companies operating within the Belt and Road Institute, will contribute to the development of transport infrastructure, logistics, and trade networks.
